“Twilight” fans may no longer be camping out on the street for up to a week to see the stars at the films’ premieres, but they are just as enthusiastic as ever.

This week, one fan started a petition for Target to bring back a bedding set that was a staple in the bedroom of protagonist Bella Swan (played by Kristen Stewart) throughout the series.

Within four days, more than 1,300 people have signed the petition, which has a goal of 1,500 (virtual) signatures.

“Target, there’s no time like the present. Twilight fans around the globe are eager for more merchandise, and Bella’s bedding is at the top of the list for so many. Let us give you our money!”

That would be the Purple Flocked Comforter Set, which Target discontinued in recent years.

The comforter made its first appearance in “Twilight,” which was released in 2008, and was seen throughout the rest of the films — up until Bella stopped living at dad Charlie’s house, of course, in “The Twilight Saga: Breaking Dawn — Part 1.”

According to InStyle.com, the set retailed for between $90 and $110 when it was in stores. It’s now being resold for “upwards of $500,” according to the petition.

“I figure someone had to do it, so why not me!” Samantha Rose Baldwin wrote in a post on a Facebook page for Twilight fans.

Baldwin works with The Olympic Coven, a “Twilight” acting troupe that cosplays as the films’ main characters, and plays the role of Bella.

“I have been looking everywhere for it,” one fan commented under a link to the petition.

The “Twilight” saga consists of five movies released between 2008 and 2012. With the recent book release of “Midnight Sun,” which tells “Twilight” from Edward Cullen’s perspective, the fan base has been rejuvenated. Stephenie Meyer, a Phoenix native, spent more than a decade writing the nearly 700-page book.

“The Twilight Renaissance is now! Fans of the ‘Twilight’ movie franchise are back and better than ever,” the petition reads.

“Midnight Sun” was the No. 1 best-seller on USA TODAY’s Best-Selling Books list on Aug. 13, with more than 1 million copies sold in its first week.

Fans have been outspoken about their interest in buying “Twilight” merchandise, even if the products are no longer sold.

They have expressed interest in everything from a “Twilight”-themed makeup kit to hard copies of “The Twilight Saga: The Official Illustrated Guide,” which is resold on sites such as Amazon at markups.
