Scott Twitchell

Scott Twitchell, executive vice president of sales at Clark Insurance, has been elected to the agency’s board of directors. Twitchell is responsible for the strategic growth of the Maine, New Hampshire and Massachusetts markets as a member of the management team. He started his insurance career with Banknorth Insurance and eventually became part of the leadership team that grew to be TD Banknorth Insurance, TD Insurance, and most recently USI Insurance Services, before leaving to join Clark. Twitchell graduated from Bowdoin College and has attended executive MBA classes through Boston University and the University of Southern Maine.

Virginia Swain

JMG, Jobs for Maine’s Graduates, a statewide nonprofit serving 10,000 students across Maine, recently added Virginia Swain and Jon Mason to its board of directors. Swain is a professor emerita at Dartmouth College and is dedicated to helping Maine youth succeed, and is especially interested in fostering students’ skills, health, self-confidence and ambition. Mason currently serves as the vice president of human resources for General Dynamics’ Bath Iron Works.

Educate Maine has added three education leaders to its board of directors. They are Amy Boles, director of the Hancock County Technical Center, a career and technical education center serving high school students in the Ellsworth area; Michael Cato, who leads information technology strategy and operations at Bowdoin College as senior vice president and chief information officer; and Ellen Halliday, superintendent of schools at RSU 29 in Aroostook County. Educate Maine’s efforts focus on ensuring college and career readiness for all Maine people, and the incoming board members bring diverse education backgrounds and experiences from all over the state that will add to its leadership group.

The investments are primarily focused in power generation, specialty logistics and transportation, SAAS and advanced materials. Prior to founding Pine Grove Holdings, LLC, Ms. Connors served as President and Chief Executive Officer of Atkore International Inc., formerly the Electrical and Metal Products division of Tyco International. Prior to joining Tyco, she served as Vice President at Eaton Corporation, a global electrical and automotive supplier, where she held several positions in operations, continuous improvement, and general management. Earlier in her career, Ms. Connors was employed in several senior executive and management capacities in the automotive industry with profit and loss responsibility.

Ms. Connors earned both undergraduate and graduate mechanical engineering degrees from the University of Dayton with post-graduate studies at the University of Tokyo in International Finance and Economics. She also serves as a director of Baker Hughes

Criteser is president and chief executive officer of the Tillamook County Creamery Association, a national dairy co-operative headquartered in Oregon owned by nearly 80 farming families. Prior to that, he was president and chief executive officer of Coffee Bean International. Criteser currently serves on the boards of the Oregon Business Council, the Oregon Community Foundation and Hampton Lumber. His appointment was effective June 30, 2020.

Lobdell is senior vice president of finance, chief financial officer and treasurer of Portland General Electric, Oregon’s largest electric utility. Since joining PGE in 1984, Lobdell has held a number of key positions within the company and its affiliates. He serves on the boards of the Oregon and SW Washington Chapter of the ALS Association and the PGE Foundation. His appointment was effective June 30, 2020.
